Ocean City, NJ Celebrates New Offices of Goldcoast Sotheby's

Ocean City, NJ - The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce the grand opening of the new Goldcoast Sotheby’s International Realty offices located at 200 34th in Ocean City. Their location at 18th Street was damaged during Super Storm Sandy. Officers and Board Members to be Installed to Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce

OCEAN CITY, NJ - On Thursday, February 6th, the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce will install their new Board of Directors and Officers at Ocean City Yacht Club.

After 2 years of service, Brian Broadley (Broadley’s MDI) will step down as President and take the position of Immediate Past President on the Executive Board. William McMahon III (McMahon Agency) will be installed as the new President of the Chamber.  Additional new officers will also be installed.

Steven Brady, President of OC Home Bank, to Provide Economic Forecast to OC Chamber

Ocean City, NJ - The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly membership luncheon on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at The Flanders Hotel in Ocean City. The event will begin at 12pm and will feature guest speaker Steven E. Brady, President of Ocean City Home Bank, to give his 2014 Economic Forecast. The luncheon is $25.00 and is open to all members and member guests.

OC Repertory Theater presents "A Christmas Carol"

OCEAN CITY, NJ-Ocean City Repertory Theater continues it' s 2013 season with a holiday production of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens on Saturday, December 21 at Sandi Point Coastal Bistro.  Nineteenth century London comes to life when you and your family join Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, and, of course, Ebenezer Scrooge on a fantastical journey through Christmas Past, Present, and Future.  Enjoy the music, dancing, and timeless message of hope, peace, and love, as the the Dickens' classic masterpiece immerses you in the magic of the season. Lights, Camera, Christmas! 2013 Holiday Spectacular

Indoor/Outdoor Things to do in OC This Weekend


Indoors: Ocean City Train Show, Sat. and Sunday at Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. Hours 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday. Features large running displays and vendors selling trains, train parts and decorative accessories for holiday home displays. $3 for adults, $1 for children at the door. Ideal family event.

Santa Visits the Ocean City Boardwalk

The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce has invited Santa Claus to Ocean City for photographs. Photos will be taken at the Music Pier by the beach, with Santa in an official Ocean City Lifeguard Boat.

Philippine Consul’s Visit to OC to Discuss Conditions in Country & Aid Options


Consul Zaldy Patron from the Philippine Consulate General in New York visited Ocean City  today to discuss conditions in the Philippines including Ocean City’s sister City, San Jose Occidental Mindoro. Additionally, he discussed on-going aid options and thanked Ocean City for its continuing concern and support.

Albert Trots Off With Dog of Year Title

OCEAN CITY, N.J.—Albert, a sprightly English Springer Spaniel, was crowned Ocean City’s “Dog of the Year” during a ceremony at the Port O’ Call in Ocean City on Sunday. The award goes to the canine that has raised the most money for the Cape May County Dog Park in Ocean City.


Photos of the contestants were featured for months on the boardwalk and downtown locations and the public was invited to show its support with money votes. Albert was sponsored by Boyars Market and Berger Realty and likes to swim in the Ocean regardless of the temperature. He has accumulated quite a fan club and frequents local spots like Boyars where he is treated to liverwurst, milk bones and lots of love.

Quiet Festival


OCEAN CITY, N.J. --- This year’s edition of Ocean City’s Quiet Festival will feature a free program that will entertain kids, their parents and the public.

Highlight of the three day event will be a quiet extravaganza that includes a Quiet Pet Contest, a Quiet Magician, a Quiet Artist who will draw a cartoon of your child’s favorite animal, the Quiet Turtle Singers with their giant tortoise Big Bart, an ethereal harpist and the Snore at the Shore, the world’s only quiet snoring contest.

Ocean City, NJ- The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce is continuing their proud tradition of hosting “Welcome Night”.  This year, “Welcome Night” will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at its traditional venue at the Ocean City Music Pier.  Admission is free and all area residents are encouraged to attend.  Fabulous door prizes provided by local businesses will be given out throughout the evening.

What's Happening in Ocean City this Weekend

Sun., Oct. 20: South Jersey Cruisers CLASSIC CAR RUN: Approximately 200 cars will arrive in Ocean City between 11: 45 a.m. and noon and park at the lot across from the Flanders Hotel, 11th and Ocean Ave. Included will be Street Rods, Classic Cars and cars from the 60s and 70s as well as contemporary Camaros and Mustangs. Moorlyn Family Theatre to Remain Open Through Fall

For the first time in recent years, the Moorlyn Family Theatre will remain open through the fall and Christmas seasons and into First Night celebrations.  Because of the new management, distributors are willing to provide first-run releases on a trial basis, depending on local response.  Extensive parking is free in the municipal lots adjacent to Moorlyn Terrace and 8th Street.

Cape May County American Legion Posts to Honor POW/MIA's

The Cape May County American Legion Posts will conduct the POW/MIA Recognition Day Ceremony on Friday, September 20, 2013 to ensure that those courageous Americans, who gave their lives to preserving and protecting our freedom, will never be forgotten. The Ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial located at the Ocean View Service Area on the Garden State Parkway (mile marker 18.3). All members of the community, especially veterans, are encouraged to attend.
