Ocean City, NJ- The Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce Farmers & Crafters Market will have its opening day on Wednesday, June 26th.  Farmers will be on the grounds of the Ocean City Tabernacle, 6th Street and Asbury Avenue and Crafters will be across the street in the Firehouse parking lot.  The market will be open from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and will showcase Jersey Fresh farmers and a number of crafters with many handmade treasures and treats.   Our Farmers and Crafters Market will feature a great assortment of fresh Jersey produce, fresh flowers, and fresh herbs; all from local farms.  The Market will continue every Wednesday through September 4th.

As an addition to the market this year, the Chamber has asked local food establishments to feature an item made with Jersey Fresh products from the market. In turn, the business name, location and Jersey Fresh product will be featured on a board at the market. Each Wednesday, shoppers at the Famers and Crafters Market will be able view the local specials offered by the local businesses that feature a Jersey Fresh product.

This market, established with the NJ Department of Agriculture, is designed to benefit our local farmers by exposing them to a new outlet to sell their produce, which will help sustain their farms.
