OCNJ C.A.R.E., the non-profit organization established to help Ocean City residents and businesses rebuild and recover after super storm Sandy, is looking for volunteers to help in an upcoming cleanup and recovery effort. Saturday, February 2nd from 10am-12pm, volunteers are needed to aid in debris cleanup at the north end housing development of Pecks Beach Village at 4th and Haven Avenue.

The 60 units at Pecks Beach Village were severely damaged in the storm and are currently under repair so that families may move back in as soon as possible. Cleanup assistance would be greatly appreciated so that the road to recovery in Ocean City may be made swifter.

If you are interested in volunteering for this cleanup effort please fill out a volunteer registration form at ocnjcare.org or call the OCNJ C.A.R.E. hotline at 1-855-622-2730. Volunteer coordinators are Caitlin Greene and Sarah Lee.
