OCEAN CITY, N.J. (Saturday, May 25, 2013) — StandUp4SEALs, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the families of fallen SEALs and other Spec Ops warriors will sponsor its First Annual Beach Adventure Race which will include a sand obstacle course for adults and a fun sand challenge run for kids under 10. Event will also highlight a Stand Up Paddle Ocean Challenge (SUP). Festivities and race event will begin and end at 4th Street Beach on the morning of Saturday, May 25th, 2013.

 

Ocean athletes, adventure racers and teams of all ages will compete, as bagpipers and honored veterans of our armed services will gather to take part in this unique beach event – the first of its kind on the jersey shore. Competitive teams and individual athletes representing area schools, businesses, government agencies, law enforcement, bars and taverns, key members of the Chamber of Commerce and community veteran organizations will be there to cheer on the teams.

StandUP4SEALs is an official partner of One Team One Fight, a partnership between the Navy SEAL Foundation and The 31Heroes Project. This Memorial Day Weekend event will serve to honor and support the families those who have fallen and those who fight on in this longest war in modern history.
