Chuck McCann is a very talented and funny guy. He will be grand marshal of Ocean City' s Doo Dah Parade on April 14 and star of its annual comedy show April 13. McCann has been featured in just about every entertainment medium.

He has hosted syndicated TV Children's shows from New York. He has excelled in the lead roles of movies including The Night Is a Lonely Hunter and The Projectionist. McCann has also won five Cleos for writing and performing in outstanding commercials (one of which was selected over Michael Jackson's Pepsi spot).

Chuck was the guy in the mirror in the memorable Right Guard Commercials. The voice behind many characters in Disney's animated cartoons and movies.

He has been a guest star on dozens of network sitcoms. He is a talented ventriloquist. And his comedy routines in Vegas, Atlantic City and other venues have won him rave reviews. Mc Cann is just back from performing again in Las Vegas.

You will be able to enjoy his endearing antics 8 p.m., Friday, April 13 at the Music Pier, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace. And it will be a great entertainment bargain. Far less than you would pay at the Casinos.

Chuck and the Doo Dah Committee have put this show together to benefit the Ocean City Food Cupboard. Admission will be $5 and/or a donation of dry or canned food with all proceeds going directly to the Cupboard.

Chuck will be joined by the impersonators of legendary comedians. You will once again enjoy the antics of Groucho Marx, Jack Benny, Abbott and Costello, Lucy, Charo and George Burns. Plus there will be a tribute to the late, great Soupy Sales with Trudy Sales, Soupy's widow, a former June Taylor Dancer and Paul D'ver, his entertainment director.
